SeWhan,

Don't worry about it so much. If it breaks, you can buy or trade for another bike.

I think you meet someone on any bike, but something weird attracts more attention. You have the DR650, so take that. If it breaks, trade it for something local.

Or just buy yourself a Vincent and take that.

Yes,Dave..

Yes,Dave..you always have a good point..
Maybe I overvalue the attraction of Big Scooter.
I had learn that meeting local people is the most
valuable thing and all about motorcycle journey.

Hey Ron,
I think you meet a nice girl in Medellin,Columbia, don't you?
I had felt exactly the same feeling of yours when I travel Columbia.
I mean,I really love to live there..Beautiful girls and nice people..
THe best people in whole America..!!
I hope you can find a way to live in Columbia then
invite me to live your next door.^^

I'm very apperciate what you had done to me when I travel.
You guys help me so much in many ways.

I'm so happy to make a friend like you and
that's why I love the motorcycle traveling.

Anyway,my conclusion..
If I travel with this guy whole through America ,I will buy the Silverwing.
Because I already know the road condition and everything as I already
made through.
But I don't know much about Russia,Mogolia and Stans.
and I have to help this guy to make his dream come true.
THat is the only reason why he want me to join his travel.
He has a KTM990 which is very strong off road machine and
I guess there are much off road above region where Silverwing cannot
handle.
This will make him very sad..

Also, there will be many other troubles to solve even if I go with DR650SE.
and we have a tight schedule for this journey.
We have to go to Moscow before snow because we have to get the
train to get back to Vladivostok then Korea.

I decide to buy DR650SE and he also will buy the same one
if he success to sell KTM990 before we leave for Japan.
It's the ideal way to go,the same two bike..

Hm..
I have to learn Russian language to make a nice girl friend above region..
Yeah..that's really what a want..!! ^^

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
