thanks tony.
I ended up going for an Arrow pipe as it was quite cheap at £175. The system you talk about looked really smart but with the added quality comes a slightly higher price tag!!

The company looks similar to Predator Exhausts, who pretty much make any system for any bike. Always good to keep an eye out on these sort of places.

The Arrow pipe is great although it was a bugger to fit. The downpipes didn't align exactly so i had it blowing at the front. A bit of wiggling and swearing seems to have sorted it! Its still a blowing a tiny bit, but some new gaskets might help create a better seal.
The pipe sounds great and not too loud either. Ended up ignoring the Laser as it was more expensive than the Arrow. Didn't notice any huge performance gains, the engine just seems to rev quicker. Still i haven't taken it for a proper blast yet.

Hi Rob,

When I looked at Arrow pipes I just saw the silencer. Does this mean that for £175 you get the whole system? My Dommie is 1992 so has steel pipes all round and I really need to replace them.

Cheers - Dave

hi dave,
you are correct, the arrow is just the silencer which connects to the existing front pipes. You do not get the front pipes too! (The Laser exhaust needs an intermediate pipe which connects the two front pipes to the silencer. The Arrow has this 2-1 bit built in, so it makes it cheaper...)

see the link for a picture.

I am after some stainless steel front pipes for mine now to match the rest of the system. The current ones are a mixture of rust and black exhaust paint!

Bit late, but good for future reference. Predator exhausts, mentioned earlier are without doubt the trickest looking, best sounding, easyest polishing, easyest fitting exhaust on the market. Hell, even the sceuring nuts welded onto the can for the original heat shields were spot on perfect and stainless steel. Lifetime guarentee ( unless you trash it) on the workmanship, you can have road or race pipes with relevent kite marks etc. Full or part system, they can even fabricate an exhaust from your old one. Two end pipes with joining section was 379 quid for an aprillia pegaso. Not exactly cheap but you get what you pay for !!! Shiesssh, what do you want, the moon on a stick ;-) Oh, and no I dont work for them...
