Africa Twin Exhaust

I have Touratech pannier frames fitted to my 03 Africa Twin and would like to change the stock item.
For those in the know the exhaust is very close to the frame.
I'm looking for something thats looks nice, not loud and fits securely.
Hope one of you guys can help.

You have lots of choices..
I have the BSM Futura Titanium (from David silvers) Which they say is the same noise level or lower .. but i am not too sure about this. but it weights less then a Kg and I made my own link pipe (so that is sits high) and it still weighs about a 10th of the OEM one (when you take it off you will be shocked i think i read some where that it weighs about 14kg!!). So if you decided to go with this model I will sell you standard the link pipe cheap.

but there is also
Remus has a few choices (both e marked and not)
Vance and hanes (spelling) do em.
and there is also
Africa Queens and many many more choices.. see here and this list is not even complete ATiC - Honda Africa Twin Homepage

the big issue is the cost they can be silly money so my suggestion would be watch German Ebay there is always options there and cheaper too.
Good luck.

No problem on the pics but i cant get them up for a few days..I have to dig it out of my garage (and am not sure where i put it) and i am away this weekend.. as for the price ahhhh ....:confused1:... £40 +shipping sound reasonable? (they sell for £90)

here is a link to the PDF on the pipe..
http://www.bsm-exhausts.com/images/prodsheet/1371.pdf
it is part #9 that I am selling.. but you can see what it could look like on your bike.. the connector pipe weighs more then the titanium end can at about ??2-3KG?? (don't hold me to this) but the entire package is about 4kg....The connector pipe is stainless steal..

I have a Lazer ProDuro on my @.About 97db and a lot lighter than the stock exhaust. Makes a lovely popping sound at times

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
