How much oil?
 

Hi there,

Has anyone upgraded thier Africa Twin front forks with the tougher springs from touratech.

If so, how much oil did you use? We have been given varing amounts.

Hai Dominic,

The amount of oil vary's with the springs you get. So the amount mentioned in the spring-documentation is the correct one.
Be sure to check the amount of space left in the airchamber. (to the milimeter) This is more important then the amount of oil.

HI Guys

I have an Africa Twin (2000 model) and have fitted the progressive fork springs from'Africa Queens',a good modification as the original honda springs are to soft when the going gets rough or in our case are riding two up and have done from the U.K.
I only fitted them when we got to Australia but wished i'd fitted them from the start as the roads through India were the worst weve ever encountered
