Honda NX4 Falcon rack needed, where from?
 

Anyone know where I can get a rear rack for a 2007 Honda NX4 Falcon from, I'm in UK? Is there a standard Honda or aftermarket one available anywhere before I go down the route of homemade or bespoke? Cheers Lou

I don't know if they ship this overseas, but you can try to contact them. The price is in Brazilian Reais, about 2:1 compared the the US Dollar (1 dollar = 2 reais)

I've just got a 2011 NX4 (in UK). Did you get a rack? I can't find one so I'm probably going to take the panniers off my Serow & get a steel fabricator to make new brackets. Would like a rack tho'...

Racks for NX400 Honda Falcon
 

If you are in or coming to Buenos Aires, racks can be fabricated here
inexpensively and very professionally.

Elisa (rosa del desierto) and I (xfiltrate ) had racks custom built for our
2 NX400s .... Many years back, we used saddlebags designed for horses with add on leather backs and then found excellent soft luggage designed for motorcycles. Metal/aluminum panniers can also be fabricated here.

Cost is less than half of standard panniers and racks sold by major suppliers...

this red Falcon was one of the very first NX400s fabricated in Brazil .

thanks for the reply and pics, I haven't got around to getting one yet but I would still like to get something basic to bungy luggage on to. I wonder if you know in Argentina if it is possible to buy there and send to UK,but I can get made here,might be easier,for about £80-100 all by a local (good) fabricator

Panier Racks in Santiago, Chile
 

Does anyone have an idea on racks for the NX4 Falcon in Santiago, Chile? I haven't decided to go with hard or soft bags yet, are there any suggestions either way? I figure with hard cases, most likely plastic, if I drop the bike they will shatter or break in a way that I won't be able to repair and will have to buy them again. The plastic cases I've seen down here are ~CLP$90,000 (USD$180) so not really something I want to be replacing a lot. But I worry about needing to lock the bags to my bike while I'm on the road with the soft saddlebags.

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!

Miles, did you ever find a solution? I'm in Chile with a Tornado XR and in a similar situation ie can't find a rack. Any advice would be great.

I ended up going with hard case. I found a shop (MaxMoto) down on calle Lira (can give more details if interested) that would install the framework for the cases. They actually suggested to me to go buy a pair of hard, plastic, water resistant tool boxes at Easy (hardware store) that ended up costing ~$50 a piece. The frame work cost about $80. Pretty sure they install on tornados too.

The guys there do all of the fabrication, so I went in a week ahead of time told them what I wanted then came back and watched/helped them install it.

As far as soft bags, you can definitely find them but they are hard to track down. I would suggest starting on Calle Lira and checking out shops there.
