Dominator 525 sprockets

Hello.
I have been doing some searching for a 525 chain and sprockets for a dominator but not finding much.
Standard is a 520 but I intend to upgrade to a DID 525zvm2.
Can anyone push me in a good direction?
Dave.

Try the Transalp sprockets, how many teeth do you need, the 650 is 48 rear and the 600 is 47 both have 15 front.

David silver spares had some OEM sets at a good price.

Sprox.

Cheers, Are the Transalp sprox the same fitting and pitch fixings as the Dommie then?
Cheers, Dave.

I believe they will fit but you need to double check. If you give me some measurements I will check for you. Rear sprocket centre hole ID, number of mounting bolts.

I don't know if the chain is going to foul, is there room around the front sprocket for the extra width without touching the engine case.

Sprocket dimensions

Hi Steve.
The dimensions of the dommie sprock are:
Centre hole 130mm.
PCD 150mm (centres of fixing bolt holes).
6 hole fixing (10mm dia drillings).

Cheers, still waiting on a confirmation from the suppliers to XRstuff.
Dave.

Hi Dave!
Sorry for popping up this old thread, but let me ask you how was your luck with 525 chain on Dominator?
I'm looking forward to buy Domi as mu next bike, and discovering if 525 chain can be fitted on Dominator.

Wish to PM you, but had to have at least 5 posts on this forum (i'm newbie here).

Many thanks.
Constantin.

"B and c express" should be able to make a set for you should you have a problem I've used them several times and highly recommend them. Also try "talon engineering" again, I've used and recommend them.

I had a dommie in 2005, fitted new c & s at 5,000m, made a trip from uk through france, over 4,000 miles in Morocco then back to uk; I put a new set on around 19,000m so the std lasted well, riding in all conditions.

I'm wondering why you are fitting a heavier chain? I know a 525 will be stronger than the std 520 but bear in mind the extra weight of a 525 will create more gyroscopic forces which in turn can wear a chain out......just something else to consider.

good luck
