CRF250L ignition switch diode value
 

Sorry Ted, I know you pick up on Honda tech Q's and I'm asking a lot just lately, also but anyone else can chime in... We have used my old CRF250L engine in a special build and bypassed the ignition switch and then noticed the diode connection between red/white & pink wires that goes back to the ECU. Can Honda advise on the diode and its values/ ratings etc etc..?? ( we did this on a Suzuki once and it worked to some degree).. Anyone..?? TED..??

I didn't realise when i posted this up that other folk who don't build specials but tend to participate in other activities that also require this info for 'hot wiring' purposes so if any one that is genuine and is doing away with the ignition switch I have the solution and can pass it on if you PM me...
