Hi there,
Any specific reasons why you want a foam filter? I have a cleanable K&N-filter. It costs, but it's definately worth to money! Just clean it with petrol and use oil to grease it.. cheers, corne |

Hi Frode,
Look at these two posts regarding my search for a foam filter for my Transalp. I have got one now from MOTO Air (dutch company). There are some useful manufacturer names and info in these posts. http://www.horizonsunlimited.com/ubb...ML/000209.html http://www.horizonsunlimited.com/ubb...ML/000312.html

Hello I decided for foam air filter because it is supposed to offer the best filtration, for me it is not important with that 30% more air, performance thing. What I want is the engine to last as long as possible. And hopefully I do not need to re jet when changing from paper to foam. Did you have to re jet Paul? I have found a supplier of Twin air airfilters here in Norway. Thanks Frode |

Yes I chose the foam filter for the same reason you did Frode. I haven't rejetted. How do you tell if you are supposed to or not? My performance does not seem to have changed. I suppose if I checked the sparkplugs in a month or two that should also give me an indication of whether it is too rich or too lean.
