You are so right - the turbulence is hellish. I have a German screen but someone gave me it so I'll try to get the make.

I will never go back to Honda's screen even though it does look good.

stress

The little spoiler looks a lot better than the Touratec equivalent (which is more
expensive and badly designed and even more badly build).

Keep in mind that the extra weight on the screen can couse a problem. My
screen started to crack (after lots and lots of corugation and bumpy tracks), so
I made a simple support-bracket from the blinker-support to the top of the
screen.

make one

£10 from B&Q perspex

cut roughly into shape and put into oven over origional one, it will bend to the correct shape - just watch it!
then cut again and put edging around the top - all for a tenner !

turbulence

I fixed the problem by mounting a touratech part wich you put on top the original one. It was much bether. But as soon as i start using a motorcross helmet it was 100 % gone.

The turbulence is on a r 1200 gs even worse, so we tryed the helmet there to, it was u huge difference.

I have had
-the standard which was rubbish
-a vajo tall screen (similar to powerbronze) which was okay but i did not like the clear screen
-and now I am on a MRA Varo.. great cus i can adjust it for the type of riding that i am doing.. i.e high for high miles.. low for off road.. have to say it is worth the money!

I made a small extention for my gs screen & bolted it on & it works great & can be unbolted for off road sections

screen

i made a slight extension for mine out of an old helmet viser in the garage! added about 10cm on the top and it's great. i ride with an open face no problem and it did'nt cost a penny!

Excluding the spoiler, Is the MRA vario much taller than the standard screen in its own right ???
