I think it depends on how tall you are. I had the 'Powerbronze' screen on my old Africa Twin, but I got so much buffeting and noise I went back to the standard screen.

I'm about average height 5' 8-9". The buffeting isn't really bad but it's a real pain on a long journey.

The problem with the screen I had was that it deflected the air perfectly away from my body and directly towards my head. Prior to fitting the new screen I had the Touratech add-on accessory which worked well as it wasn't quiet as tall as new the screen. There was more noise than with the standard screen though, even with this. I think it's just a matter of trial and error to see what suites you best.

Just thought I'd let you know I bought a MRA Vario screen for the RD04.

Excellant, makes a very big difference. 90-100 cruising is now comfortable with little wind blast where previously it was just unacceptable.

I've fitted a Touratech add-on screen to my Dominator, on top of a roughly 10-inch screen (which made it impossible to breathe at 40mph!). It works a treat. 50 now feels like 30. (ps - I'm 6' 2")

Just out of interest, where did you get your Vario screen from? I didn't realise they even make AT screens - I wonder if they make them for the RD07A......?
