99 dominator

I'm helping a mate repairing a 99 dominator. The tickover is all over the place, up and down.

I've welded the holes in the exhaust, which helped somewhat but it's still not perfect.

I will now have a go at the carb. Anyone had any experience of this model?
Is this a common fault? Where can I get hold of a carb reparation kit?

Any tips appreciated

Davy

Don't know if it's good or bad,
but silly comments won't get the bike fixed

do you mean pass wind and waste time :confused1:

so back to my questions

anyone worked on the carb of a HONDA Dominator?
at tickover it is roaring up and down, otherwise running ok
eliminated exhaust as problem and want to look at the carb
looking for a place on the webb where I can pick up a carb repair kit
anyone had experience of problem
how about changing jets, diaphram etc

or anything else that could cause this problem?
