'82 honda 250 cn cut out
The bike runs fine and accelerates well... reasonably if screwed slightly lol
however, When warm and you come to lights, etc , unless you keep revving the engine it will die, although restarts on the button.Not sure if its dirty idle jet or more serious. It wont start though if lights are on........is that due to a poor battery or is it the nature of these beasts to not have enough power to use electric start with main lights on? also managed to find a carrier and back box....but wondering what panniers to fit so they don't foul the motorad? exhaust. by they way what mileage do you think i should get from a full tank on this machine.......petrol don't seem to last long.......and i don't speed....hardly can on this bike! lol

I think you are right about possible dirt in the carb, you could try some carb cleaner additive in the fuel it may save a carb strip.
Your lights being on will reduce the voltage to the starter not like later bikes where the lights go out while starting. Cheers Ian
