Hi there,

I've got a night a the following day free in Wicklow, driving down to Wexford in a rented car (on my way to a Christening, not as part of a big trip).

Anyone got any recommendations for somewhere nice to stay or to go out and eat. Also anywhere particualr to visit?

Just go up the hills, if you have time to spare just get lost around there. It's a gorgeous place and this is the best time of the year to go around it with flowers everywhere.

A good day trip is to go from Wicklow to Rathnew-Rathdrum-Meeting of waters, back to rathdrum-Larragh-Glendaloch (great park and walk there) - Wicklow gap-Sally Gap-Ennieskerry-back to the N11

im with jonnyboy on this one just go up into the mountains, there are plenty of different we roads to go on and all will bring you to a different spot of beauty. I toured through the Wicklow mountains last summer and it was class, all day just going around mountains. I think we only went on 1 N road the whole day and that only lasted about 10mins each side of being in the mountains.:scooter:
