Where to buy a side-car motorcycle in Europe?

Does anyone know of side-car motorcycles/bikes that I can buy (and sell) in Europe? Where can I buy these bikes? Are there less expensive older and used side-car bikes for sale somewhere?

I'm looking for a bike that I can buy in Europe and use to get me (slowly) from Czech to England.

Do a web search for Watsonian-Squire sidecars, they are the main builder in the UK. They make high quality combinations for all kinds of bikes.

Alternatively, if you are looking for something more reasonably priced, there is a Ural dealer somewhere in the UK. These are primitive Russian combinations based i believe on the old BMW R75 from the war.

Old BMW outfits can sometimes be found advertised in the classic bike magazines.

I would suggest taking a look at Ural sidecar models -- resilient boxer engine, easy to fix and cheap spares.

While the Russian brand might sound a bit exotic we were able to find dealers in many countries on our last summer's trip.

Some findings from a quick Google search:

These ones do Sidecar-Bikes as
a passion.

So far heard only good things *alot* about
them, different brands and a lot of
custom-made stuff, but Ural and others
as well.
As I'm not into sidecar-bike stuff I don't know
more right now, but if you drop me a mail with
your questions I'll help you as good as I can.
