Wanted: Bike Parking in/near the Pyrenees

Hi
Can you help? I wish to park my Suzuki DRZ400 (slim and tall: fits easily into a narrow space) and a bag of riding gear somewhere in or relatively close to the Pyrenees, either in Spain or France.

This would be from the middle of April until early July this year.

The bike is UK registered in my name and insured etc. I’m British.

The bike is presently near Malaga and going to Morocco at Easter. In the summer I will do a Pyrenean traverse.

If you live anywhere from Barcelona to Bilbao, from Biarritz to Toulouse to Perpignan or anywhere in between and could help, I would be grateful.

Do you have a small space in your garage/ barn/ shed? It doesn’t have to be clean. I have a cover for the bike. So a dusty out-house would be fine. Just a little secure. Obviously it would be at my risk.

I would fly in on about 7th July and ride away.

Please leave a message here or email/PM me via this site or via my website (address below).

Thanks in advance.

Hi Chris
Give camping Riberis a try at Llavorsi where we were based for the 06 Pyrenknees-up, try and speak to Rosa she speaks very good English and has an American husband, she may well be able at least to point you in the right direction if you don't get any better offers.

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
