Getting a rear tyre in portugal or spain

Hi People

I’m going to need a new back tyre by the time I get to Portugal or South Spain ready for Morocco..

Does anybody have any suggestions, or better still an address for a 130/80 – 18

What brand/tread/type of tyre are you looking for and what route are you taking? We are based near Malaga and there are a few places I can recommend.

Hi

Thanks for the reply, I’m in Spain first then heading for Portugal

Staying at this eco-camping farm thing.
Saturday November 8th > Sunday Nov 16th (RENT YURT £6 per night)

Monday November 17th > Sunday Nov 23rd (WORK for free food and bed)

Monday 24th move down towards Lisbon then on to Algeciras so I’m not going to be round your way, having said that, I guess anything can happen.

TYRE INFO IS..

Pirelli MT 70 130/80 -18 TT 66R M/C

One option for you if you've got a delivery address is this on-line shop:
Neumático: venta de neumáticos de todas las marcas - Pneus-Online

But if you're really stuck, we can have a look for them in our area. The hubby works in Gibraltar during the week which isn't a million miles away from Algeciras.

The cheapest places to stay in Spain are Hostals and there's one in Algeciras that people recommend, but I can't find the thread.

There was a shortage of tyres here a couple of months ago and I ended up buying alternatives to the ones I wanted. Tyres cost about the same wherever you buy them - it will be more a case of buying them where you can, or ordering them a month before.

I've bought a few tyres from this place - :: Cial. Navarro Hermanos, S.A. :: Motos, coches sin carnet, Quads, Bicicletas, Recambios motos y coches, Maquinaria, Herramientas, Pintura profesional y particular - and they've got a branch in Algeciras. There's a massive branch in Malaga so if Algeciras haven't got what you're looking for, Malaga should be able to send some over.
