uk to Naples
 

Hello Folks,
heading down to Naples in a couple of weeks on my bike,
looking for advice on which route to take to avoid as far as possible snow ,now i know this time of year it may not be completely possible but am looking for as snow free a route as possible for this time of year,i.e. no alpine passes :(
I have travelled widely in Europe by bike but never in January and never this route ,all advice very welcome

Go down this gravel path and you will get over night stay for £10 a nigh. Bunk's in a dorm. Then catch an early crossing round seven in to France.

Then make your way to either Dijon or Lyon's and stay in a F1 hotel over night. Then make your way south to the med. You can pick up an F1 booklet for all there hotel's in France. Now ask the guy at the first F1 to pick out a F1 as near to the French Italian border as you can get. Once you have it. Ask the guy to put it in to your sat nav, And ring through to book you a room. That way you have a room already booked, And a good idea that the chap who has programed your sat nav knows where you are going.

Do cheap room. From there you can reach Naples in less than a day. No snow if it's not snowing and most of it low land.
