Turkey With A Truck Beware
At the moment we are at the border with a Saurer 2DM lorry en route to the Sahara. Because the vehicle is over 6 tonnes, we have been automatically dropped into the TIR category, when all we want to do is cross the sahara desert.
The Turks want a DOZOLA document from us, and we don't know what this is, we cannot find it online, and can find no reference to it. So we are now appealing (Through a customs clearing agent) to the head of customs (TIR) to ask him for leave to enter. We shall see what happens. raf@kayakpemba.com

dozola or dozvola is the free pass certificate for tır.class trucks. Given by governments in same amounts for each sides.very hard to find it free.
Try to certificate it as a sports truck.
