Hello,

Arrgghhh,

As I am not native, I didn't understand well and clearly from where do you want to take your bike and yourself to Gallipoli? Want to take a ferry to Gallipoli Peninsula from Canakkale?

It is very near.If you ride to Canakkale, Gallipoli Peninsula is VERY NEAR and if you still want to take a ferry, sure you can find one in Canakkale though it is not a scheduled one.

This question is not a really strictand you do not need to think about it seriously, the area is very near and everything is easy.

Hope some fellow who knows the area and who understands your question very well may answer better...

Hi,

As I understood, you want to cross from European site to Asian site in Canakkale.

The answer is yes, there are ferries crossing from one site to the other. There is no bridge like Bosphorous Bridge or Fatih Sultan Mehmet (Fatih, the Conqueror) Bridge on that strait.. you have to take the ferry. It is very common there.

hope this helps. have fun.

Hi Bootlace,

According to http://www.turkeytravelplanner.com/trans/Ship/dardanelles_ferries.html there are regular ferries to and from Canakkale to the Gallipoli peninsular.

I will be travelling the other direction in 2 weeks time, keep us posted how your trip goes.

Jerry
