Tar Surfing in Poland
 

I refer to those horrible deep channels in the roads made by trucks. They pull your wheels all over the place. You've really got to watch out...overtaking is thrilling and unpredictable....it produces extensive head weave too...

Some ruts are so deep that I liken it to surfing - great long waves of tar, sometimes rolling over on top.

Same in Lithuania and Latvia.

In my opinion the polish drivers were much worse than the roads. The step from horses to BMW and Mercedes was to great in so short time. The record was four small wooden crosses by the road in only about 200 meters.
