Superfast Ferries, Ancona

Can anyone please advize me as to the address/location/directions to the Superfast Ferries ticket/check-in office in Ancona; not the ferry terminal? The sketch map given on their website does not appear to marry up with my maps, Google or GPS. We shall be arriving from the north on the A14.

Any assistance would be very much appreciated.

Thank you.

Superfast

Greets from Milan, Italy. I have been many times to Ancona departing for Greece (a country I love very much). All checkin offices are located at the port of Ancona, and it is possible to buy the ticket too, however here you are the link of the agency running all bookings on the behalf of Superstar

Hope it helps

Just ride into the port, park your bike up and walk into the main building. All the ferry companies have an office on the gound floor.

Remember before you buy a ticket to check everyone's prices for the best deal.

Thank you for your replies. We have booked tickets over the internet and are informed that the e-mails have to be exchanged for tickets in Ancona. There is conflicting advice as to where this is carried out; I am being told by some this is done at a Speedferries office close to the port and by others just to rock up to the port and have them exchanged there.

I appreciate I may be making a mountain out of a molehill but we will have little spare time on the outward leg of the journey to run around Ancona looking for the correct office.

Yes. When you approach Ancona, just follow the road signs that say "Porto".

Once you're in the port area, follow the road signs to "Check In".

That is where you buy your tickets or check in if you have a reservation number. This is also where you find out the number of your departure dock. Again, there will be road signs leading you to your dock.

My experience the same. The building right next to the boat. Run in do all the passport stuff and check in with the correct office.

We were running crazy late (i.e. 15 mins before the boat was to leave) and they did it pretty quick and waited for us to get on. You just have to find the correct office in the building, but when we were there was easy enough just to leave bikes out the front.

I wouldn't suggest running that late though, I could have got some serious speeding fines if we got nabbed

Whoa, no! That was a couple years ago. Now the Checkin&Ticketing offices have been moved a few hundred meters, if not a whole kilometer off the departure dock.

As I said, just follow the signs.

Panıc over, the ferry and check ın were located. The check ın ıs not at the port sıde but a lıttle dıstance away. Thankfully, there are large yellow sıgns dırectıng you to the correct locatıon.
The system works! All the very best from a hot Cappadocıa!
