Storage In Athens

Would appreciate feedback regarding possible safe storage in Athens for 2 months. 2 AT's + 1 V-Strom. If anyone can recommend a dealer who sells Anakees or similar quality tire in Athens I'd be very grateful. We will be traveling onto Turkey and Iran from Greece and will be looking to replace our rubber before departure.

Thanks in advance,

Willem

Hello, there are plenty of garage places to store your atv and bike but you have to pay them as long as you will leave them there. As for tyres, again many choices around the center Athens. Check: Ìïôïñüäá - Your Motorcycle Online Store . I will be back in Athens from M.East trip in 15 days. If you want drop a mail.

ok

So, what's the plan? You want to leave the bikes for 2 months, get back home, return 2 months later, change tires and leave for Turkey? Or will you be in Greece during those 2 months?

Anyway, define storage. Would the fenced basement of a house do? (it is common for Greeks to use their basement as a garage) Or a secure drive-in pathway, or a fully fledged garage strictly?

I can help so long as you specify what you need. As far as the tires are concerned, I know where you can have anakees bought for a reasonable price as I have a membership discount (benefits of our local moto-club).. I would go for bridgestones trail wing (165 euros) if I were you if plan to reach Iran, but anyhow I know the anakees go for around 200 euros in Athens for the transalp, I know the Africa will cost slightly more, as the rear is wider (installment and alignment are included, tubes will be charged extra).
