There is now a caravan / camping site about 8 km east of Harmanli, close to the E80 Sofia - Istanbul road, and near the Turkish and Greek borders.
Sakar Hills Touring Park offers spaces for tents, good shower and toilet facilities, waste disposal, electric hook-up, and even furnished apartments for hire.
