shipping bikes to south-east europe
hi,
since we're short on 'holiday time' this year, we're wondering if there's any cheap way to ship our bikes from belgium to turkey or greece by train, boat or truck, so that we can fly there and drive back, thus saving us some hundreds of kilometres of highway... i couldn't find anything really useful in the previous posts, so... eh... anybody? thanks g |

Hi Gaea! ;-)
Perhaps not cheap, but how about car train to Venezia, then ferry from there (if operating) or Ancona to Cesme? Alternatively, you can rent XT600 in TR. Hope to see you both soon in Ghent. Ciao, Peter. |
