Share a cabin to Esberg
 

Planning a trip to Nordkapp ;) leaving UK early June 4th or 6th and returning 21st June. Will be riding alone and trying to bring the costs down, so I want to know if there is anyone mad enough ( and cheap enough, like me) to share a cabin on the Harwich to Esbjerg route. Or even still ride all the way up. My route is going to be Denmark, Malmo bridge up through Sweden, Finland to the Nordkapp and then more leisurely ride down the west coat via Bergen to Kristiansand and ferry back to Denmark. I have ridden to the Pyrenees and around europe on a couple of occasions 10 years ago but a little out of practice, so it is a long time coming. Sorry Beyonce and Cheryl strictly no romance as I am married :ban:, PM me if you are interested.

I wish you were going in July/August. I'd definately take you up on that. In stead of the malmo route, go to helsingborg for the ferry. It's cheap and a lot nicer route.

From esbjerg, I normally go to roskilde and camp for the night at the big campsite, and then the next morning go up to helsingborg for the ferry. Give it a go. It drops you in the right spot for the slow cut across sweden.

Thanks for the tip Dave, I need to research the camp sites. Looks like I am going to have to ride up from France, rather than the luxury of a ferry.:(

Ive got a bunk booked on the 6th June leaving Newcastle to Amsterdam.. let me know if your interested and I will phone DFDS and see how much it is to add another bike + rider.

Ive not booked a return leg just yet as I dont know how long Im going to be in Europe

Hi everyone! This ferry will cease operation in September. I am looking to split the cabin fare with anyone between 15th-22nd August 2014, Harwich - Esbjerg one way.
