Sorry for that,going to leave my bike home.
It's going to be 10 days (5th Aug) with a Land-Rover.
We'll start in London intend to get to the north part and Highlands, do some off road and camping. next year intend to drive trough on my bike. so it's going to be kind of a route reaserch for us.
any recomendations? "must do"? "don't dare"? any Adventure MC gatherings/events?

Go west young man.
The Morvern and Ardnamurchan peninsulas are fantastic. Indeed the whole west coast is pretty nice. Right up north past Ullapool is awesome, its like another country. Sandwood bay is one of the best beaches I,ve ever been on. Its situation is fantastic. You have to walk a few km to get there though although you might be able to take your 4wd down if you are subtle about it. There are loads of campsites, the more remote they are the more basic (sometimes a field with a toilet block) but the better they are!
Skye is not to be missed, its mountains are stunning. You can get the ferry from Oban to the South and get the bridge from further north to the mainland and the Kyle of Lochalsh. Great castle here called Eilean Donan (I think! something like that anyway!) which has been in more films than you can shake a stick at. if you are near Lochinver in the North, go to the pie shop there it is the best in the world! Over in the East are the Cairngorms a less spectacular but very unspoilt and beautiul mountain plateau. Take the wee road that goes through Braemar Glenshee for more purty hills. I'm not sure about off roading here. My limited experience is of naughty forays on forestry trails! Theres bound to be an off roading club you can contact though.

For off roading in Scotland, I don't think there is /that/ much, apart from the infamous "Corrieyairack pass" which has, apparently according to the various LR magazines, one end blocked semi-illegally by a gate, but is about 24 miles long?
From the pictures i've seen, it's a very nice scenic drive.

Have to disagree with Matt. Sandwood Bay path is very fragile and is held, I think, by John Muir Trust for good environmental reasons. Don't want to pontificate, but it's not the place for a 4WD.
For camping look at Scourie (near to Scourie Hotel for s, and good fishing), Ardmair Bay near Ullapool, and for out of the way look at Stoer round the peninsula from Lochinver.
On the way north go over Bealach na Ba (sea level to 2000ft on one lane road with passing places, hairpins and superb view from top). Then go a few miles further on down to cafe just before Applecross village for good cakes and coffee. I think it's called the Flower Tunnel or similar. The drive round the Applcross peninsula to Sheildaig is excellent with good views to sea. Also an excellent bike ride.

We are back
It was great. Scotland against the clock.
wether was fine (10-15c)Edinborgh's festival is a must.we went up to John O'Groats, many one lane roads, and eaven done some off road near Durness.the west side was so beautiful i cant point one place. met many bikers all around. so thaks Matt, Jim and Boxer. next year we're there on the bike.
