Question about weather in Portugal & Spain

I'm planning to airfreight my motorcycle (ST1100) to Lisbon in the spring, and ride througout Portugal, Southern Spain, and through Southern Italy.

I'm not familiar with the weather in that part of Europe. Does anyone know of a website that provides historical temperature averages (prefereably in graphical format) where I could go to find this info?

Failing that, can anyone tell me what the weather is like in Southern Portugal and Southern Spain in late March - April?

Hai,

Lots of info on avarage temperature and rainfall on WWW.WORLDCLIMATE.COM
Spain and Portugal are nice around that time. Temperature is about 20 degree's and not much rain.
You will enjoy it http://www.horizonsunlimited.com/ubb/smile.gif, I am sure!

Have a happy and travel-filled 2002

Like Renato said, chances of rain are very high during those months. I'd say a bit more than 20ÂșC, maybe about 25 if it doesn't rain, with minimums in the 9-11 range. I live a bit further up north in Spain (15 min from the northern Portuguese border), you're most welcome if you need anything.

(Why is it that most travellers totally neglect northern Spain? the good biking stuff is UP, not down!)

Roberto.

You are so right . Any biker who misses blasting around in the Pyrenees for a few days will kick himself .
