Posting Tyres to Greece

Guys,
Having a bit of a shed clearout and found a pair of surplus to requirements TKC's in the back of it which are now on evil-bay. Just had a query from someone in Greece asking how much to ship them there - anyone recommend a shipper or have an idea of what price to ask ?

Just buy them in Greece, it's a well used tyre her and the price isn't expensive at all. Forget the hassle of ship them.

OP is selling, not buying.

FWIW, I'd be more concerned about scams than anything else. Make sure your payment protocols are airtight.

Sorry I can't help with shipping information. It's hard to believe you can't find that information yourself more easily than you can solicit it here. If I was shipping a couple of tires internationally from my home in the USA, I'd Google UPS, Fedex, DHL, and the US Postal Service, same as if I was shipping the same tires locally.

I'm guessing you'll find you want to sell them locally, even if your buyer is not trying to scam you.

Too many options and prices that vary from WTF to "hmm that's reasonable" , but as always recomendations are always good.

There is a lot of shipping of bike parts between the UK and Greece currently, but usually we are buying from Greece (which also seems cheaper for postage). I also have heard that in some areas due to the economy it's hard to get consumables as the local suppliers have gone bust.

Seems a reasonable request otherwise I would not have looked into it - as the actual question was "Can you please find out my potential costs BEFORE I make a bid ?"

They're so popular in the UK, as well as expensive, you won't have a problem selling them in the UK if the price is right.
