By now you experienced this area. We are planning, three people, to go from Munich, Prague, to Cracow and then East towards Ukraine. Coming back perhaps on the Southern part of Carpatian range. Any tips?

Hi - Sorry, haven't checked this board for a while. I went from Krakow in to Slovakia, so I didn't touch the Ukrainian border until Northern Romania. Sounds like you will be going straight from Poland in to Ukraine ? I didn't enter Ukraine due to time and visa costs / hassle - but it has a very bad rep. Sounds like the only bit I could comment on is Krakow - what do you want to know ? The safe and sensible route is probably the one I took - Slovakia and Romania are very attractive. Northern Hungary is very boring - head straight to the Budapest area and have some fun for a few days. If you wanted to skip in to Ukraine just for a peep, you could still do it on that route.

Two motorcyclists will be going from Cracow though Southern Poland to Western Ukraine, Northern Romania to Slovakia and Germany, starting May 21, ending June 15thin Munich.

Anybody wants to join?
