Off road in French/Swiss Alps

Hi, new here so hello to everyone.

I'm off to the Alps in a couple of weeks and was wondering what the 'greenlanes' are like in that area.
Depending on what the general consensus is will determine which tyres I fit, either TKC's or Tourances.

Basing myself in Lausanne btw.

Hey,
well offroading in Switzerland will be a bit of a problem. Certainly there are places, where you still find streets that are not yet paved, but mainly they are paived everywhere or you will find a "Prohibited"-sign.

Why you don`t try the Liguric broderstreet from col di Tenda down to monaco (about 80 km off-raod)? or possibly also the Assietta-"Kammstrasse" from Susa in direction Sestriere (about 30km off-road)? It might be a little late in the year already to start planing, but if your good also with some harder trails, try the "Ligurische Grenzkammstrasse". It is fantastic. You can ride it also with heavier bikes, but be careful.

Near the french border in Bardoneccia you can ride up the hill "Col du Sommeiller" which ends at the altitude of more than 3000m.

tahts all for the moment.

have anice trip
