You don't mention what the problem is, but there is a BMW shop in Galati:

Atlas Motors
Strada Domnească - Parcul Eminescu
Galați 800215, Romania
+40 236 418 018

Or a bit south of where you are:

BMW - APAN
DN22B Km4
Brăila, Romania
+40 339 401 888

Now they only list cars, but any BMW dealer can get parts home for bikes.

casperghst42 thank you very much for your immediate response and your help!!!
In my last trip in Hungary, as I was driving, I heard a terrible noise-at a moment- in the right cylinder, and the engine went off with full of fumes coming off from the exchaust. I repaired the damage, 4.000 euros, and with almost a new engine I'm doing the round of the Black Sea. Today I noticed tha t first I had an alarm Low Level Oil (after Costanta, Romania), I refilled it, and in Galati I heard my engine making a high noise (maybe from valves)..... and I don't like to risk it....and I prefer to visit a shop repair.

Hi Jefe,

My pleasure.

Have you asked on Advrider (GS Boxers - ADVrider) or UKGSer (1200 GS Hexhead - ::. UKGSer.com .::) there will be someone there who can help you diagnose the problem....

Latest news.....

The first one in Galati (Atlas Motors) is closed, and the second one (BMW - APAN) serves only cars as you said Casper, and tomorrow morning I will try to find out if I can resolve the problem, in IVAS Suzuki, in cooperation with my mechanic from Greece.....

To be continued....

Hello,
Didnt hear about a mechanic in galati or smali but I remember a guy who makes enduro routes and has a mobil service, a nice panel van minibus with all equipment and a space to transfer bikes to the workshops if problem is big..

May be a faster solution.

All the best.

Good morning Casper!
ADAC loaded my moto from Galati and brought it in BMW Bavaria in Bucharest, where I'm now. My moto is in the service and I'm just waiting.....

To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
