Many questions from Asia..
We are planning a trip to all around Europe from june to sep. But we don't know anything.

first, Can we buy bikes in Europe? -We don't know anyone in there.
Second, What kind of licence do we need? - we have a international driver's licence and our bikes will be smaller than 125cc.
Third, How much does the gas cost if we travel all aroud Europe?
last, What route would be the best?
Sorry for the many questions.. we hope your kind answer.

You can buy a motorcycle in europe. I think a int. driverslicence is OK. 125ccm? Do you want to buy a motorcycle <125ccm? The gas will be between 1.10 and 1.40 Euro/liter. There are so many routes you can take. It depends where you want to start or end your tour.

125 will be regarded as too small by most. I used a 250 - that carried the luggage fairly well. The fuel will be costly - stay off the motorways (and toll roads) and keep your speed down to minimise the fuel used.

Your problem will be insurance on the bikes. That is the area you will need to investigate. Theft is a large problem - if you can get a policy without theft then it will be a lot cheaper. You do run the risk of loosing the bike - but it may be worth the savings.

Routes - way too many !!!!!!!!!! Best select what you want to see first than ask about interesting routes between them.

Europe is expensive - even camping is a lot more than you would be used too.

In the Netherlands (that's where I live), Belgium and Germany, I would not like to ride on a bike of less then 250cc.
Sometimes you have to drive on the freeway/autobahn for a while and then a 125 is just not fast enough to keep up with the other traffic. (unless you get a Aprilla 125 twostroke sportsbike)

I used to have a Honda SS125S a long time ago and with a strong headwind, it was dangerously slow on the autobahn. Then I bought an HD SS250 (later they were sold as Cagiva SS250) and I had no problem with that bike.

Thanks for the advise. We'll try to avoid highway and use a state road. I don't think we can drive big motor bike... we are just beginner.
We're planning this route for 4 monthes : Britain- France - Belgium-Netherlands - Germany -Czeco -Austria -Turkey-Greece - Italy -Swiss -Spain
Is it Ok? If you have any good route, please recomand me good one.
How much does the gas cost for this route?

Gas in the Netherlands is almost 1,40 euro /liter for regular (95 octane)
For route planning in Europe, I allways use http://www.viamichelin.com/ This side has very detailed maps and with the "big size" map, you can printscreen the maps to paintshop pro or another program and make your own maps, for the route you want to travel.

You can find a lot of information about driving in the Netherlands on the site of the Dutch GoldWing club.

Go to http://www.goldwingclubholland.nl/gb_index.htm and click on "Holland" in the menu.

Err is this a restriction on your licence? If it is then you may not be allow to get an International Drivers Permit (see your local drivers association). You will also find insurance more difficult to obtain and costly.

How long do you have to wait to obtain an unrestricted licence? It may be worth waiting.
