Looking for good European Motorcycle Guide Book

I've recently been looking for a good, up to date general guide for Europe by motorcycle. Mainly I am interested in routes, camping, budget accomidations, and some off road routes would be great. I tried to get a copy of 'Europe by Motorcycle, Vol1, but my book store couldn't even order it saying it was out of print, or working on a new edition. I've done some searches, but nothing has stuck out.

I guess just a general guide to get ideas from is what I want. I will have lots of time, and very few plans so far, so I'd like to take a look at the options from a riding perspective to get me started. Any suggestions would be great, thanks.

Have you found the book page on here?

Try Amazon for hard to find titles and remember to visit from the link on here as Horizons gets a small fee. Just scroll down to the bottom of the page.

ADAC is a good reasource, see UEM: European Motorcycle Union and you can download their maps at Overview of UEM-Motorcycling maps

Also have a look here, ADAC-UEM Motoring Tour Maps - Search by Publisher - Online Store - Mapsman - for motorcycle maps and Michelin maps

Tim, the UEM Motorcycle maps are perfect! It is just what I need, so at any time I can cross reference where I am with that map, and pick up some twisties for a few days. The nature of my trip has me in different places for different events, so I will be filling the time in between with riding, and this is perfect! I am flying into Frankfurt, so will pick some up at a local ADAC office. I guess you don't need a review book for routes, you just go find out for yourself. Surprisingly, they don't have much for central Germany. Do you know if there are any light off road routes on the maps?

Selous, was that the 'camping' zip file created by Ulrich which is stickied in the route planning section? I had a look at that and found that it pretty much covered all of Africa and South America, an absolutely precious resource for campers. I will make good use of the Middle Eastern countries that it provides information on.
