Limerick2Mongolia2013

We are driving through Europe this summer on our way to Mongolia. We would love to hear about some places we have to visit along the way. Basically, we will be going from France all the way to Turkey and then on into Asia.

Get in touch with us if you want to help us (or just have a load of pints)

So as to recommend you a good route for Turkey between west and east (1850 km), more information needed.

1-Your likes and dislikes.
2-Planned period of staying for Turkey.
3-If any, names of the places you have in mind planning to visit.
Top ten to see in Turkey is Gallipoli,İstanbul,Pamukkale,Ephesus,Kaş, Cappadocia, Nemrut,Kemaliye stone road and dark canyon,Van Lake area and Doğubeyazıt(mount ararat, noahs ark, isabey mosques is here)

Wish you all the best.

Fair play to ya!

Good to see Irish places mentioned in travel stories. But i've no ideas for you, so the first place you get lost and enjoy it, consider that as my recommendation :-)

On a more serious note, a good site to look at is http://www.philflanagan.com/ from his Mongolia days. I've met him in Argentina, a real nice guy, and would love to email with you if you've questions.

Enjoy!

Merv.

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events (22 this year!); we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, the HUBB or to receive the e-zine. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive.
