Insurance in Montenegro
Hi
I am Travelling to the Balkans soon , and have found it impossible to get Bike Insurance ( In the UK ) For Montenegro. I have been told you can purchase it on the Border at the point of entry. I have also heard from fellow travellers that this isn't as easy as it sounds. Has anyone managed to purchase insurance on the border recently and what was their experience , was it easy to obtain or difficult or even impossible. It would appear from my research that since the split with serbia , reciprical arrangements regrding insurance have yet to be established.

I passed through Montenegro Last year (August2006), my green card was valid. Did not have any kind of problem regarding insurance.
I had to buy insurance on Kosovo. It is done on the borders, you cannot enter unless you have done it.

I forgot to add, that all the people in Montenegro where very friendly, a lot of toutism along the coast , no problem at the border we didn't even have to take the helmets off. The rout e from Pec(Kosovo) to Rozaje and Podgorica magnificent!!
