Hearty Nosh Calais?
 

Any decent (Supermarket) cafeterias or similar we just want something hearty to eat - roast chicken meal or similar - close to the motoway after we exit eurotunnel heading east next week. We won't have time this side.

Yes, as Bertrand said, Cite Europe would be your best bet, just off the Eurostar and before getting in the motorway.

At one end of the shopping mall, you have the supermarket Carefour, at the other end of teh main gallery, you have many cafes and restaurants. Plenty of choice.

There is even a mock english pub there. Make you feel right at home :laugh:
All these places are at the opposite end to Carefour and are on the ground floor. Flunch is good for a bite to eat on the upper floor near the middle entrance. Check this link

But thanks.

We enjoyed our meal at Flunch. One fish and one haché meal with a good selection of cooked vegetables or chips, potato/sweet potato to help ourselves to. Approx. 14 euros for both dishes.

We also bought a whole chicken rôti from Carrefour to make sandwiches with whilst travelling over the next couple of days (we're not on bikes).
