Europe ride out anyone?

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

hi.
Im led ther one night in bed and in a really shitty mood so i think to myself 'y...y do i feel like this' n then i realised its becouse im bored...bored of life. is life about working, is life about making someone else rich while u struggle and be unhappy...no! no it aint. so i though thats it...im doin what iv always wanted to, iv always wanted to just 'go' on a motorcycle, no set route or plans just see where the road takes me...its all about freedom.
So im setting off (on my cb1300) on august 9th from London with little more than a backpack on my shoulders. First stop is france by ferrie then stay in calais overnight n get a decent kip. Next guna ride down to Paris in the morning n just see wats goin on...spend sum time ther (anythin from 2 days to 2 weeks, just depending how i feel) then im thinking maybe onto Geneva, Switzerland, no real reason apart from iv never been ther before. You kinda get the idea...just go where i want when i want n stay as long as i want.
So before you think it, no i aint a single guy with no real commitments, iv got a job, an amazing girlfriend who is willing to let me do something iv always wanted to and iv got a house i gota pay for so just guna leave money in the bank to cover it for a while and to be honest im not going 'forever' ill probbly be back in a few months...6 months max.
Sooo my point is, if thers anyone out ther who is doing, planning or contemplating doin anything simular it would be great to chat, share ideas or even travel together. age or gender is not important, just the desire to be free.

Thanks for reading.
TOM.

p.s: Sorry bout the shit spelling...iv never been good at that haha.

Going to Poland Longer Way Round

Hi Mate,

So it happens I am leaving London one day after you (Wed 10 August) for Dunkirk. I will be travelling to Poland via Luxembourg, Southern Germany, Czech Republic, Slovakia then staying a couple of days in Poland (lake district and sea-side) I plan to come back to London through Northern Germany, Holland and Belgium. I am camping all the way. If that sounds interesting to you just give me a shout

Rob

Wotcha,

Six months takes you right into winter - in the Alps!

When autumn begins to bite head for Spain. It's not all sun, sea and sangria (I'll leave the sex bit for you and your girlfrirendd to sort out!) but see my blog for some ideas!

Enjoy!

Simon

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
