Thanks to everyone who's submitted suggestions and links. I'm been on the road a few days (Touratech Travel meet) - back to Munich now for a few more days of 'gear renewal', then next week, I'll wander over to the HU meeting. So when I have computer time, I'll figure out a summer schedule and post it here.

Hello
Just thought I would resuscitate a old post since I had spent quite some time searching for such a website page that listed a lot motorcycle rallies in Europe.
The person or people who run this website must have spent quite some time compiling, and locals probably can see some rallies missing from the list.

Careful translation might be required of some languages or words as to not plan your trip around Europe with expectations that you find MC rallies are later not as you expected.
Events.
Some or a lot of the rallies listed can be quite small , local motorcycle clubs main events and friends attending mostly.

The website page is LPMCC.net

hope that helps those that like to met people that ride motorcycle from other country's and have more than a couple of drinks.

Some of those rally names bring on a shudder of recognition and past expeditions - the two Elephants, the Dragon and a few others in particular. Every time I get back from a winter rally I say never again, and I never do until the next winter when I get bored. So, the 2019 Alt Elephant, I definitely won't be going, unless I have nothing else on that weekend. Maybe.

There's quite few I saw on the listings that are near me but I didn't know existed. The Hivernale du Vercors for example. That place is bleak in the middle of summer so January must be well up the miserable scale. I was down there - by bike - last January and had more snow than the height of the bike fall in two days. You need a pretty good tent and a big shovel to get through that without the tent collapsing.

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
