Crete trailrides

Anyone point me towards on-line resources as to legal trailrides in Crete - planning a week off from work late Sept and it's a toss-up between hiring a drz from Greenways there or trying a spot of MTB'ing in the Alps. Done a search here but not the answers i'm looking for... cheers, Dave.

hey. im into trail riding here in the uk and usually use 'wayfinder', its an internet resouce containing co-ordinates of greenlans and 'boats'. nowadays i use google earth; their low altitude photos of europe have been recently updated. find your chosen route and see if there are lanes there. you can even spot gates, horses etc.

or maybe some kind of local OS map?
either way good luck!

Greenways on Crete

We hired bikes from Greenways last autumn and were very pleased with our holiday.
You can read my review here:
Crete, Greece, GreenWays Motor Tours Review - Motorbike Holidays. Review of 452298
Lightweight bikes and guided riding on a standard tour would be good.

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
