Corsica / Sardinia in November

I have 2 weeks in November and could anyone recommend the above in November ? in particular the weather, i'd also like to camp if the weather will be at least pleasant and there's a site open

Hi, both places are beautiful. We came through from Marseilles on our way to Southern Italy / Greece in March this year.
We just happened to pick the coldest / wettest spring for years and were about 3-4 weeks early for the campsites to open (apparently Easter is the start of the season).
Most of the places we looked into are open till the end of September / mis October at least and (actually) wild-camping would not really have been a problem.
The info on campsite opening dates / facilities on the ACSI website is generally pretty good if you haven't tried it before. ACSI Eurocampings - 9800 by ACSI inspected camp sites in Europe!
Hope this helps.

Early November in Corsica can be quite nice, but it can also be very wet. The temperature average is usually around 15C. Although Corsica has a long holiday season, usually well into October, you will find probably 95% of the 150 odd campsites closed at the end of October . Wild camping is prohibited in Corsica. The plus side is that the roads will be empty out of season, although sometimes a bit tricky if it's been raining, because you get huge gravel traps on bottom corners of the hills ( there are a lot) which can give you '' buttock clenching'' moments. The secenery, ( whatever the weather is doing) is inspiring.
