Question off road routes in croatia

Hi all.
Does anyone know of any trails or piste's that are accesible to use in croatia?
I will be spending approx two weeks there in august, and wish to do some offroading if possible. I will be in a landrover discovery. Any clubs, or gps marks would be great.
Many thanks,
Nick.

I did some off-road riding while I was there last year. There are some trails in the Velebit mountains above Senj. I spent a bit of time on the islands of Brac and Ciavo, and there were loads of tracks to explore.

Hi psionick,

If you're interested in soft off-road, there are extremely lots of good tracks in Istria, Dalmatia and Lika, though the last region has some drawbacks due to still active mine fields, which are, however, well marked, at least if you're entering from a tarmac road (this goes in part also for some parts of Dalmatia, especially the Zadar county). Soft off-road is easy and straightforward in Croatia, giving lots of joyful moments. If you're planning some hard off-road, you should get in touch with some Croatian club, as you already mentioned. Don't know any, but could find some contacts. If you were interested in Slovenian off-road I could be more helpful.

Hi Nick, I am from Croatia and know a lot of gravel tracks in my country.
First of all, what bike do you ride? When say offroad, you mean hardoffroad
with bikes like EXC KTMs or easyoffroad with dual-purpose bikes ( as for ex.
BMW GS ) ? Where do you intend to start and where to finish ? We have our
croatian forum ( Motori.hr Forum ) and there is a lot of people from
different parts of country with offroad expiriences.
Regards

To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
