Bike Rental in UK

I am looking at going to Europe next summer probably flying into London. Can I rent a bike there, and if so how much? How do I get my International drivers certificate? Any other info for a first time traveler to Europe would be appreciated. Thanks.

There are lots of places that rent bikes in London. I'd look at the Motorcycle News (http://www.motorcyclenews.com/home) and yell.co.uk (online version of the yellow pages here) for starters.

Not sure what their rates are but no-doubt you can find out on the net/through email.

As for travelling in Europe - The UK Automobile Associations European Camping and Caravaning Guide comes into its own when it's dark, raining and you don't know where the h&ll your gonna stay. The Lonely Planet's 'Europe on a Shoestring' is also a handy - especially if your going to do lots of cities.

You can get the international drivers license at AAA. I think you need a pasport photo and remember to check that they put the motorcycle endorsement on it.
