I'm looking for opinions on which tires

A very dificult question with many diferend awnsers.
I thin I will use the Metzeler Tourance. It has a resonable tread depth and, according to Metzeler, it is one of there there most long lasting tire's. Any one has experiance with it? Maarten |

Hi Maarten
I've been on Tourance's for 2 years now, after changing from Trailwings. I think their roadholding is unparalelled (took them on trackdays and they kept up with sports tyres easily!) and they're great in the wet as well and long lasting. I did have a blow-out on them though at 180 kph! Was apparantly due to a slow puncture, and although they blew up as could be expected, the carcass did not slip over the inner rim and the walls held together which testifies how strong these tyres are. I'm taking them with me overland to India
