hi all,i thinking of buying the touratech zega pro panniers for my xt660z tenere which come in sizes 31l,38l,45litre, but not sure the best fit for the bike,i don't want to sell myself short but not over do it.if anyone can guide me that would be great thanks

38L are in the Goldilocks zone

I have two 38L Zega Pros on a balanced 18mm Metal Mule frame on my BMW F800GS and I'm happy with the size and overall width. Whilst the extra few cm width of the 45L cases doesn't sound much it is when you measure it out onto the back of the bike. IMHO the 45L would have been too wide... the 31L too small... the 38L however, are just right. :thumbup1:

Hi, the standard Yamaha panniers are a bit small at 30L, i would opt for the 38L. Andy

we have 38 L Happy Trails panniers and they are perfect for us - you can get plenty of gear in for a long trip 2up and keep the weight low - instead of strapping duffel bags up high on the back of the bike.

if you travel very light and you will not ride 2up for an extended period of time the 31's would be fine, the 45's will be too big IMO
