Which IMO Displays in kmh or mph?

Investigating buying a Touratech IMO for my bike. Can anyone confirm (preferably through ownership) which model(s) allow(s) the speed and trip distance to be displayed in kmh or mph?

Thanks in advance.

Hi - I have the R300. You simply choose which ever you want to display by going to the edit screen and toggle between mph kph.
I imagine the rest of the models in the range are the same. Just make sure you by the English model, that way you can understand the words on the screen.
BTW I wrote a note last year to someone about fitting one of these. Just be aware you might have to fabricate lots of little bits yourself.

I've had a 100R300 and a 100R Sport. Both allow you to switch km / miles very easily.

Agree about the UK-spec model too. And making brackets and wiring them can be a bit of a drag. Worth it though!

I love my totally unnecessary shift light.

Hello, I am also thinking of a touratech imo for my r80g/s. Hows the reliability and ruggedness of these units.

Are there any bicycle computers that even come close?

Hi Cameron

On the whole the're pretty reliable things. They record speed and distance accurately once set up.

The only problems I've had are the date of max and min temperature reset itself back to the start of the year and now the daily trip meter only reads to 1.2 miles then resets. i guess it's a software glitch but it dosen't bother me at the moment.

I once had to replace the internal backup battery. Its a soldered in type but it's not to hard to do.

Also despite having a good seal on the lid and a couple of little bags of silica gel inside, the screen still mists up on a good day when the sun shines on it.

They are good instruments but I think the're too expensive, espically if you put on all the gear, roadbook lights and switches.

Still when it's all done, it's a real good job and definately worth it if you do any rally events.
