What tankbag for a XT600E?

Hi
Anyone knows a good magnetic tankbag that fits for a XT600E -99?

Doesn`t need to be large, I`m only gonna have wallet, passport and the phone in it.

People say the Wolfman Enduro Tank bag fits very well, but it is not magnetic.

I like it, but I look for something bigger fitting the Acerbis 23L tank (the Wolfman would fit great but too small).

Good luck and happy travels,

Esteban

It's probably no help to you, but I use a normal-sized Buffalo magnetic bag. It's not designed for the 'humped' tank of the XT and looks a bit weird, but it's never fallen off.

If all you want is a place to carry small items, I'd be tempted to go for a waterproof bumbag like this one - under a tenner, and you don't need to take it off when you leave the bike.

Reading BlackDogZulu's advice I remembered this tiny magnetic tank bag that doubles as a bumbag (or the other way around?)! I don't know the fitting on the XT, but it could the the trick for you, and it has excellent reviews!

Have you considered a legbag instead?

there are lots of small tankbags these days but beware cheap bags magnets! super strong rare earth magnets are cheap on ebay, replace them all is my advice.

when i had my XT i used an "oxford 1st" tankbag which worked fine.

Exactly what I was going to suggest.. They fit almost ANYTHING !!

I had one on my Clark Tanked DRZ400 and it was great for Africa.

My only gripe is that the front strap has to be wrapped around the headstock making it a little more aukward to take on and off in a hurry.

However, that could be sorted with an extra plastic clip and some sewing skills.
