What spares to bring for Northern India to Nepal
We are planning to ride around Northern India and into Nepal this winter (jan/feb) on two XRV750. Any tips on what to bring of spareparts, tools etc..., and if we should make any modifications to the bikes.
We only expect to ride for approx 6 weeks. Any tips will be highly appreciated fellas!

Hi,
If the bike is in good condition, you don't need to bring anything... It's very relaible. Maybe a spare cluthc and brake-lever (I needed one ![]() But... you are on your own... There is nothing... NOTHING available in India or nepal... And don't beleive the story about Mumbai being the place to get it.... becourse they just don't have it ![]() Maarten (Bangkok) |

Agree with Maarten, but...
Indians are excellent in repairing and making spare parts providing you supervise as well and check all their work. Its dirt cheap also. Delhi, Karol Bagh has got some excellent tourist guys who are used to foreign bikes. Gurdial is one of them. But keep an eye on them, never trust an Indian mechanic!
