Tank bags for an Acerbis tank

Iv having problems finding a tank bag which will fit to my 23l acerbis on my XT600E

Most i see are for sports bikes or metal tanks..

Anyone have any experiences here ??

Thanks a lot

Hein Gericke Tuareg works for me on the DR650. Goetz Motorsport and Touratech sell a tankbag made by Kahedo that should also work. I sent it back, because the map compartment is too small for me.

Suggestions

I have used the Wolfman Explorer tankbag for a while now with no major complaints. It fits well on most dual sport tanks. The sites listed below may be of some help.

I used a Touratech tank bag. It didnt sit to good on the Acerbis tank, so i built the base up into a platform using a roll mat cut into layers to fit the curve of the tank and then shaped them to contour the rear of the tank bag where the rider sits. I then glued them together to make the platform then covered the outer with black tape. I also got some black nylon webbing strap and four plastic click buckles (as found on rucsack straps) and put one on each corner so if the base zip broke i could still use the tank bag.

The company that makes these bags for TT and KTM are called Famsa, you can get them a bit cheaper from the following supplier

Buy FA244 FAMSA Enduro Max Tank Bag|Motorcycle Tank Bags, Panniers, Tail Bags, Seat Bags, Enduro Bags, for Aprilia, Benelli, BMW, Buell, Cagiva, Ducati, Honda, Kawasaki, Moto Guzzi, MV Agusta, Suzuki, Triumph, Yamaha, Off Road, Enduro motorcycles

This also allowed the petrol cap breather pipe to remain un-kinked. Not causing a vacum in the tank.

I also bought the lockable acerbis petrol cap. My experience with these is that they dont fit the tank properly ( too small) and if someone wants to nick your petrol they will just cut through the fuel pipe. Waste of money.
