SW Motech Quick Lock retaining rings - fixing?
Hi,
Really stupid question I'm sure but bear with me - newbie n all that! Trying to fit my first pannier racks - SW Motech Evo's for Trax boxes.... So....any fitted them? The SW Motech Quick lock connectors - are these meant to be removable? (see Motohaus Powersports Limited Quick Lock Evo Accessories to know what I'm talking about and http://www.bikegear.co.za/att/kft_05_294_100.pdf at the top right for the fitting instructions)...... When putting these through the racks do you just grunt and heave them through and twist them to lock them? I guess these should all be removable but I thought that once I had pushed through the washer type part then they'd be a complete nightmare to remove. Bear with me - I just don't want to screw it up and trying to do the first thing on the bike for myself?!?! (only had one for 12 weeks) Thanks in advance!?!! |

Of course just after posting this I had a bit of a play with them off the bike and seemed to get them to click on......
But there seems to be a bit of play with the quick lock parts on their own but I assume this is ok as once it's bolted onto the bike attachements it'll be fine!????? Still to put them on the bike. |
