I bought a plain Crampbuster (without the 'expensive' ScottOiler transfer) in US for about $4-$5 from memory.

Great for the l-o-n-n-g-g-g ride to Siberia.

However when in the optimum comfort 'cruise' position it would return to be in line with the brake lever when the throttle was closed, restricting the brake operation - which gave me a few momentary scares.

It got lost manhandling the bike out of a bog along the BAM a couple of years ago, and I am still undecided if I miss it or not.

Depends on your grips....

I took one through Africa and it kept slipping on my MX grips, needing constant adjustment by rotating it 360 degrees and hoping to get it in the right place again... PAIN !!

It did relieve a little of the cramp/strain on the wrist but I only noticed on 200+ mile days..

You can get them for a fiver on Ebay/bike shows etc. Worth a punt if you haven't tried one..
